For sale is my Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox (E 853), the Calibre 815 featuring a repeater alarm, the first in an automatic watch. This movement was later used in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm.
Condition: See pictures for details
Movement: E 815 - This is the worlds first automatic alarm watch.
Made for two years starting in 1956 before being replaced by the more common and iconic 825 with date.
The no date version is much less common and has a much cleaner layout with less to adjust should you rotate through your watch collection like i do ;)

Note some scratches especially on the back where someone did not know how to open case properly.
But very nice condition overall.
Crowns: both original SIGNED crowns are present
Dial: original dial with all lume plots present.
Aged to a pleasing champagne color, with some spotting.
Strap/bracelet: excellent condition 18mm strap w/ steel buckle
Service history is unknown but watch is experiencing no known issues.
Keeping good time, winds and sets smoothly and alarm sets and rings loudly.
Asking $2850 via Paypal.
Ships free to CONUS.
