Ok, this one is going to be pretty open ended.
I am about to sell my place in NYC (I'm moving to LA, woo!) and its proved to be a solid investment, gotta love NYC real estate.
Anyway, obviously, because I have a sickness, part of the cash I get out of this place is going to watch.
I'm kind of all over the place with what that watch will be, a lot of the pieces I am interested are pretty obscure and I havent really seen or handled any of them.
I was hoping forum members could chime in with their opinions and experiences in regards to these watches, and obviously any suggestions. Bottom line is that most of these watches are rare enough that it will be very difficult to handle them all in person and as result I want to cull the collective experience of WUS to try and get some second hand hands on time.
Lets say the budget is around $20,000 that said they can certainly be cheaper.
Im mostly looking at preowned and grey market so lets think about real world prices not MSRP.
Ok, lets get into it, some of the contenders, kind of in order of preference:
H. Moser & Cie Mayu in RG and Plat around $11-15k used
Arnold & Son DBG, Perpetual Moon,
TBR, Time Pyramid
FP Journe Chronometre Bleu around $18-20k used
A Lange & Soehne Lange 1 around $18-22k
Audemars Piguet Perpetual Calendar $18-20k
JLC Grand Reveil Perpetual Calendar $15-18k
Louis Monet Mechanograph in Titanium around $10k used
Peter Speake-Marin Spirit Mk II $10k
Would love all the opinions, feedback, suggestions and experience you guys have with these brands and models.
Thanks in advance,
