I got this recently with the intention of robbing the Eta 2824 auto movement for another project...Its just way too nice to cannibalize! The watch is in beautiful condition...solid 95%. I have to say..You know how you can just feel the difference between a cheap watch (even with a nice movement) and a nice watch when its on the wrist? This just feels really well made. Details are as follows:
40mm stainless case
BEAUTIFUL Dial (and I'm one to only wear black dials)
super smooth and precise unidirectional bezel-120 clicks
Work horse Eta 2824 movement
Full length bracelet with all links (solid not folded!!!) included...no lateral sag what so ever!
-Solid end links
-extra links are screwed together not friction pined
-machined (not stamped) flip lock deployant buckle
Nice exhibition window on the back shows off the gold movement
REAL Sapphire crystal (because so many are using that synthetic stuff these days)
Quick set date and screw down crown that seal perfectly
Both boxes and hang tag, not papers.
Having worn the watch for a while, I can say it keeps perfect time..I haven't set it against an atomic or anything, but certainly hasn't lost or gained anything.
All that being said, I did say FSOT...The ONLY trades I'm interested in would be something of lesser quality with an Eta 2924 that I'd feel better using for parts plus cash. The watch can be had for $250.00 obro shipped in the ConUS. I promise, if you are on the fence on this piece. you won't be disappointed. Take a chance on a small watch company.
I apologize in advance for the quick (crappy) pics. I'm happy to take a few more. I flipped on the camera and the battery light was flashing, so I knew I was on borrowed time!
