FS: Orsa Monstrum
I picked this up a few weeks ago from a co-worker. I really like it, but I like some other stuff more. Lol.
Orsa is a micro-brand out of Quebec, Canada that is now gone. I believe they made about 100 of each color of the Monstrum - this is the white and green version. The star of the show is the giant domed sapphire crystal. The case back is also killer with the deeply engraved squid and submarine. It's a big and bonafide dive watch. It has the Miyota 8215 w/date in it. The crown is signed. The stainless steel case is finished in a deep titanium-color while the tall bezel is polished - it's a contrasting combo that just works. The lugs have screwed-bars.
Overall, the watch head is in great condition. There are not any blemishes or flaws visible to the naked eye. I wore it for about a week and stayed on time within the minute.
The original strap is rough. It's been sized and will fit my 7.75 inch wrist and the clasp is heavily scratched and missing the flip lock. Because of this, I will include a Bonetto Cinturini carbon-fiber pattern rubber strap, a Hadley-Roma waterproof leather strap, and a black nato strap (not pictured). (For the stock strap, you can replace the clasp and you'll be good to go.)
Here are some specs:
Size (width x lug-to-lug x thickness): 45mm x 55mm x 18mm.
Lugs: 22mm w/screw bars.
Movement: Automatic Miyota 8215 w/hand-winding.
I am asking $300 u.s.d. or best offer. Please see details at the bottom of this post. BONUS: In the spirit of this being a Canadian watch, I will cover shipping to Canada on this one.
