I'm selling my vintage Rado Captain Cook. I think it is from the late sixties, early seventies.
The watch is in used, but reasonable state regarding it's age. There are signs of wear on the case and bracelet, mostly small hairlines which could be polished out. The hands and lume markers (tritium) have a lot of patina going, it was definately not relumed. The dial itself is in good condition. The little anchor moves and is able to rotate. Crown is original signed with the rado anchor on it. The internal bezel rotates with a little resistance like it should.
The watch runs and keeps decent time, not perfect though. Around a minute fast per day. The caseback has a larger scratch of someone opening it in a wrong way. The date function works well. This watch has no quickset by the way. The crystal (Acryllic) is in decent condition, no big scratches or dents.
36mm excluding crowns. ~41mm lug to lug. 18mm lugs. Thickness is nearly 13 mm
The bracelet can be used on a wrist up to 18,5 cm (~7,2 inch).
No box or papers with this one.
Price is 250 euro + Shipping from the Netherlands.
