Watch was auctioned by Christies and transacted at slightly over USD5k. Selling at a loss, I am asking for USD 4k OBRO shipped
I am on a consolidation mode... and some of these watches are on the chopping board. They probably spent the least time with me as they are new and probably have not developed that affection with me yet... Anyway, I am diversifying my watches into some modern with these funds.
On sale here is another rare bird, an Universal Geneve that was made for Cartier and delivered in 1951. The dial is beautiful, with a sector style with honeycomb ring. Dial & hands still has radium and tested on my geigermeter and UV light. Comes complete with archive papers and genuine Alligator strap made by Cartier and cartier buckle. Movement is caliber 139, one of the earliest bumper automatic watch developed by UG.
