How many all titanium automatic chronographs have you seen today ... or this week ... or even this month :p ? I have 2 so this one must go.
Up for sale is a watch I have not seen here in the USA. I had to order it from Italy. The watch is made completely from Titanium. I believe it is grade 2 …. but there is no box or papers included with this sale (just the watch as you see it) so a little speculation is required. I own a couple of grade 5 Ti watches and this one scratches more easily, so that is what I am basing my assumption on.
The watch will ship with 3 extra links shown below. It currently fits on my 7 1/4 inch wrist, also pictured, on the smallest micro setting on the clasp. The three links are about an inch and a half long total … this watch would fit a HUGE wrist if it needed to.
It also has a divers extension as shown.
Anyway, this is not something you will see anywhere but here. The watch contains a Swiss 7750 automatic chronograph movement. It has a HIGHLY DOMED sapphire crystal. It currently keeps great time at +5/-0 seconds per day when I wear it. All chrono functions run and reset perfectly. The build quality on this watch is VERY HIGH as it retailed for SEVENTEEN HUNDRED EUROS.
I will provide some dimensions below, but TLex did a review on it in OceanicTime back in 2011 … I do not however, think very many, if any, made it to the USA. Even TLex only had stock photos to post with his review:OceanicTime: SECTOR No Limits MARINE Shark Master COLLECTION
There is an error in the write up. The bezel on this watch DOES NOT rotate.
The watch is a very difficult to measure 46mm wide and has a 53.40 lug to lug dimension … but all of that is VERY deceiving. If you look at the shape of the watch, along with the way the bracelet is integrated, it wraps around the wrist. Because it is Ti, it is VERY light and comfy … but you still get that 7750 wobble we have all grown to love … maybe even moreso because of the Ti. It is 17.65 thick. Numbers scmumbers, this watch would really be very easy for nearly anyone to wear.
There is some bad news. The watch arrived to me with some damage, but I will do my best to fully disclose what I have here and have made an honest attempt to provide very clear photos of defects:The worst mark is a bezel gouge between 9 and 10 o'clock. It does not go through the color though and appears to be more of a "dent".There is a bezel nick between 8 and 9 o'clock on the outer perimeter. There is a bezel scuff at 1 o'clock on the outer perimeter. There is a "flat spot" on the lower lug on the non-crown side.
This watch was very difficult to get at any discount and it would have been too much of a PITA and expense to return so I kept it. As far as I know you cannot get these overseas anymore either as they have been discontinued (long ago).
I am offering it up here for only a firm $800 USD shipped and Paypaled to your CONUS ONLY door. This is a very special watch to me and I am only selling to fund another purchase so no trades please.DIVERS EXTENSION:HERE IS THE DAMAGE. PLEASE REFER TO THE DESCRIPTION ABOVE.
The photos make the damage appear extensive, but when viewing live it is barely noticeable. You won't see another one so get it while its hot :p .
Pic showing extra links. I realize people may not believe the size is for them but reserve judgement until you scroll down to see the wristies just below.. It truly does not wear anywhere near as large as the numbers would indicate.
Wristies on my 7 1/4 inch wrist as promised ...
