Here's a less common Seiko 5-Hand 7016-7000 "2 in 1" automatic flyback chronograph.
The 7016A is later production caliber in from the golden age of Seiko's automatics.
This watch dates to February 1977.
It features 17 jewels, beats at 21,600 bph and is packed with features: 12 hour flyback chronograph, automatic winding, date, and bi-lingual (French/English) day display (both with quickset).
The unique feature of the 7016 series is the "2 in 1" chronograph 30min/60min registers shared on the same subdial.
Of historical interest, with a movement 6.4mm high, Seiko had the world's thinnest vertical clutch chronograph until Piguet's 5.5mm Cal 1185 in 1987.
Watch is in very good shape, crystal is free of any deep scratches; some debris just under the date window.
Case and caseback do have light scratches, but no major dents.
The watch keeps good time and the chronograph registers all reliable reset to zero (the seconds is just 0.25mm left of center - fine for a vintage). Quickset day is via light press of the crown; date is on deep press.
Dial is a beautiful metallic blue with only some aging mainly on the lume.
Movement looks to be in very good shape; however service recommended for daily use.
Included is a lightly used long 20mm Speidel long water resistant black leather strap; fits my 7.5 inch easily with plenty room to spare.
No box/paper/tags.
This 7016-7000 is not a common chronograph and is worthly of your collection; A bit more affordable than the Seiko Monaco series.Shipping: Priority ConUS shipping is free and preferred.
However I will consider International Offers on a case-by-case basis.
Questions welcome.
Thanks for viewing!
