I almost feel like I'm attending my own estate sale, but I am continuing to fulfill my promise to my boss (wife) to clean up my collection.
This one took a while to compile, but I never wear them - so it's time to let someone else appreciate the hard work gone into this collection.
Those who collect vintage Seiko chronographs know that the late prdocution 7015A Time Sonar series from the 1970s are rare birds.
They were the first Japanese automatic chronographs to feature a display caseback.
The translucent dial is another wonderful feature of these watches.
What most collector don't have is the 2260 series of automatic non-chronograph Time Sonars.
Hard to say if these were mashups of the traditional ladies 2260 movement or real watches since info is scarce.
We've got an amazing collection of pretty much all the dial variations I'm aware of for these two series.
Interestingly the dial codes and caseback codes are the same: 7015-6010 case and JAPAN 7015 -6010S dial, 2260-0690 case and JAPAN 2260 -1000R dial.
All watches work and keep good time (with one exception), quicksets properly and all chronographs run and reset.
The only watch that requires repair is the black dialed 2260-0690 (runs a bit but stops); a parts watch is included for this watch as I won't have time for this project.
All watches include full sized straps/bracelets (one Seiko signed).
Unfortunately I don't have a 7018 Time Sonar to throw in, but this is still an impressive set.
Look at my pics - all items in good to very good condition - a couple of display casebacks have had the internal dial code rub off, one has a small chip/no crack - all presentable and ready to wear. Happy to provide additional pics on request.
See below for potential trades (only a limited set of watches since I'm cleaning house).Shipping: Priority ConUS shipping is free and preferred.
However I will consider International Offers on a case-by-case basis.Trades Considered: 1) King Seiko Historical Collection 2000 Reissue SCVN001 4S15-70440
