Letting go of my early 90's Tag Heuer 1500 Professional to fund another purchase.
$350 CONUS shipped/paypal'd
The Professional series of watches evolved into today's Aquaracer line, but these have the traits of classic dive watches.
This is the full size 40mm model, which was discontinued in 1994, so this is a watch from early production.
It features an ETA quartz movement that keeps excellent time.
Water resistance of 200m.
For being nearly 30 years old, it is in great shape.
The sapphire crystal is clear and does not have damage.
The case has plenty of wear marks, but no gouges or damage otherwise.
The dial is still a great deep black, and the hands show an authentic patina that is common on these models as they age.
The lume still works, but has lost some longevity.
The crown screws down tightly.
The only damage to speak of is on the bezel at the 12 position.
The pearl is missing and there is a scratch next to where it should be.
To the non-WIS, it may not even be noticeable.
It did not bother me enough to try and get it repaired, but I did receive it from it's previous owner in this same condition.
I do not have box or papers, but do have the original jubilee bracelet.
It is sized for a 6" wrist and I do not have extra links, so I will also include a brown leather watch strap.
