Up for sale from my personal collection is a Ulysse Nardin Acqua Perpetual Diver, ref. 333-88-3/92.
As you can see from the pictures below (please excuse my mediocre photography), the watch is in outstanding cosmetic and equally, mechanical condition.
The watch has a diameter of 42.7mm.
The Acqua Perpetual is another example of the genius of Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, who served as chief designer at UN at the time the Acqua Perpetual was conceived.
As a result, the crown controls all operations with forward and backwards setting of the date, which of course include hours, seconds, date, day, month and year indications.
It is a pleasure to set the watch quickly, should that be necessary. The dial is black champlev guilloch enamel with luminescent trapezoidal hour index markers.
The watch is water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, and it includes an additional black rubber strap with Titanium double fold-over clasp sized for an approximate 7.5 wrist.
This secondary bracelet has a scuff on the clasp, as shown in the pictures.
The 12.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
The Acqua Perpetual uses the self-winding caliber 680 630-2 movement, which is rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix and guilloche engraving.
It's constructed with 34 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. The movement includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring.
The movement also has a hacking seconds mechanism, and a rotor with the blue enamel Ulysse Nardin logo.
I would conservatively rate the watch as TZ Near Mint (93-96%) condition.
The watch comes complete with its presentation box and outer box, owners manual, certificate of authenticity/warranty card, extra links for the high polish stainless steel bracelet and an original titanium and rubber bracelet In 2012, the watch went through a comprehensive overhaul, gaskets were replaced and pressure testing performed at the Ulysse Nardin Service Center, all at a cost of $2600. An original receipt for the work, from the UN authorized dealer that handled the servicing, will be provided to the buyer.
The watch has been working flawlessly since I purchased it in 2013.
Price is $11,000 shipped by USPS Registered Mail in CONUS with insurance and payment via wire transfer to a PayPal-verified address.
No sales outside of CONUS and no trades or lowball offers, please.
Thanks for looking.
