Up for your consideration is a catch and release.
I picked this one up with intention to keep, but I've decided that I just don't really like wearing vintage pieces.. Crazy.. I know.. Anyway, this is ready for a new home.
This jewel war era watch is really unique and has a lot of really cool design features to it.
The case is 11mm thick, including a 3mm domed acrylic crystal. It has a domed, pie pan dial, Roulette date wheel (evens are red, odds are black). The case size of this is very classically proportioned at 36mm with 19mm lugs and 44mm lug to lug.
The case actually resembles a vintage Oyster Perpetual. The patina'd lume has turned black, which matches the black seconds hand (the lume does not glow anymore).
I haven't seen to many of these pop up, and especially not with the awesome design features this one has.
This also has the original W signed crown, original, non-painted dial, original hands, and original case and case back.
The watch comes on a generic 19/16mm tapered strap and I'll throw in a jubilee bracelet if you'd like (please let me know in your inquiry).
It's been keeping good time, I haven't checked it's exact timekeeping, but for a vintage watch I was impressed to still see it at the right time when I woke up the next day after setting the time. Service history unknown, and with all vintage watches I'd recommend having it cleaned/gaskets checked before daily wear.
I'd like to see $550 for this beauty, this includes shipping and PayPal fees within the CONUS.
