1962 RIO Colorado
Only one known to be in existence!
Pristine Classic - Full Restoration.
Boat is currently located in the Netherlands
The Rio Colorado is a very rare boat.
The design is the original inspiration and predecessor to the Riva Aquarama, one of the most sought after classic runabouts ever.
This particular boat is hull No. 8 and the last built of the Colorado model range in 1962.
Hulls 1-7 are no longer believed to be in existence.
Over the past 5 years, she has undergone a complete restoration and is in pristine condition.
The entire hull and structure was stripped down to bare wood and refinished to the highest standard. The engines were removed and completely rebuilt.
All of the interior finishes including cushions, stainless steel, gauges, and chrome fixtures have been reconditioned. The complete restoration was done by one of the foremost European shops which specializes in classic Riva runabouts.
If you are looking for a classic runabout in turn-key condition, this boat should be at the top of your consideration list!
