I purchased this boat from a broker in Jan. 2010, prior to my purchase it was owned by one gentleman who kept it in dry stack storage. Since I purchase it, it has been kept in my home garage. I am a very meticulous boat owner, aside from a few scratches in the exterior get coat this boat isn?t far from the appearance of a new boat. I run her at approximately 3600 rpm at about 24 mph, she tops out at 35 mph, and with an average load she gets approximately 3 mpg. This boat is a fishing machine, she has two large live bait wells, tons of storage for a 16ft boat, 18 rod holders, and will comfortably fish and seat three adults. The collapsible half tower provides the best of both worlds, it can be stored in an average home garage and it gets you up high enough to effectively spot fish before they spot you. The remote control trolling motor legitimizes the value of the tower as you can propel the boat from it, spot fish, and fight fish all from the confines of the tower. I have maintained her with an open check book, I replaced the bilge and bait pumps, added hydraulic steering one year ago, added a power pole when I purchased her, replaced both trim tabs one last year and the other this month, added rod holders, added the remote control trolling motor, and had the tower built and installed last year. I also replaced the outboard motor water pump impeller, lower unit lube, water separate, and spark plugs every year under my ownership. This boat will do it all; flats fishing, crossing Tampa Bay to catch live bait, and near shore runs to Gulf reefs, on plane she can run through one foot of water and she is very comfortable in a 1 ? 2 ft chop (with the right driver). The trailer is no beauty it has a year or two of service left in it, it is fully legal and capable, comes free with the boat and its value is not included in the price. Why am I selling her? My true passion is offshore fishing and now that my children are out of day care I can afford to get back into the game. You can see with all I have added I planned on keeping this boat, however upon recent analysis I will not be able to afford the offshore boat that I want if I am also maintaining this boat. It will break my heart to see her go, she has served me well, however I know that she will make a great boat for her new owner.
