Description

This is a 509 ci big block that was originally built by Paul Phaff. It is a standard deck Merlin II block with Dart heads, Calles forged steel crank and h-beam rods. J & E 8.3 to 1 pistons. Approx 60 ago engine was freshened by Teague Custom Marine. I upgraded to their 14 qt. pan, Teague blower grind cam, and rings and bearings. I ran it the last two seasons aspirated with a Dart manifold and 1050 carb. Motor runs perfect and leak down results have all cylinders within 5%.
