See what had happened was....
What I have here is a brand new Tamron 70-200/2.8 DI VC (vibration compensation) for the Nikon FX mounts. The lens is brand spanking new with 0 shots. I purchased this for a project with some friends and got so excited, I got all the gear set up while discarding the 70-200 box along with a few others.
I don't even shoot Nikon! So please don't hate on me too much. I know how you Nikoners like to bully Canoners about our weak dynamic range and pro choice for awesome natural color tones. At any rate, I have a copy of the receipt for purchase on March 8th from the beloved Best Buy and it was delivered by UPS on the 15th. It is now the 17th and counting. I'll include a copy of the invoice for the 6-year warranty registration.
NO BOX or Tamron papers. BUT I have all the hardware: Lens, front and rear lens caps, hood, purchase invoice, and I'll even throw in a 77mm filter. Yes, I'm one of those guys that believes in filters. No matter how much of a professional photographer you are, dirt and grime does collect somewhere and you just don't see it. If you still don't agree, I don't have to send you the protective filter. Fine by me.
I wasn't even able to recoup the rebate because I didn't have the upc label they require...but say you bought it with rebate with a sales tax of about 8.25%, it's still approximately $1500. Asking $1350 (net to me) shipped in the connecting 48. Additional for outer territories. Please PM me.
