I bought this low-mileage 2003 base Miata last summer with plans on modifying it for autocross, but never got around to it. I just picked up another car and time to pass this along to someone else as I don't have room for it anymore. It was always garaged and the interior is perfect.
The original owner was an old lady who bought it new and babied it, then her daughter had it for a year and had the timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket replaced at 37k miles in 2017 (invoice available). Since then I tackled some of the key maintenance items and made some upgrades.
RoadsterSport 4 Exhaust
Alpine Head Unit (added the mic for BT calling)
Shifter Rebuild Kit
New Headlight Bulbs (Osram Night Breaker)
Replaced leaky left rear caliper (rebuilt made by Centric)
Bled the brakes and clutch fluid (Ford Motorcraft DOT 3 fluid)
Engine oil & filter change (Mobil 1 10W-30 with Wix filter)
Replaced rear diff fluid (Redline 75W-90)
Replaced transmission fluid (including the turret with Ford Motorcraft DOT 3 fluid)
Tint (3M Color Stable @ 20%)
Removed seats and shampooed them along with the carpet
Extensive service records are available from 2011 (highlighted items were completed by me). Clean title in hand.
No leaks from the vinyl top.
Looks much nicer with it down though.
The exterior on the passenger side is the main blemish on the car. Carfax shows an accident in November 2006 which is what caused the dents you see in this photo. No structural damage, no airbag deployment, but the original owner just never took care of it.
Installed the Eclipse vents.
Also replaced the shift knob with a heavier one made of actual leather.
Tonneau cover is in great shape (barely used, if at all).
I fixed the issue with the broken tab that holds the spring for the cupholder lid.
I removed everything from the trunk and cleaned 15 years' worth of dust & debris.
