2011 Subaru Impreza WRX Hatchback Base
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Price: $17,000 or best offer
Mileage: 89xxx (putting about 200 miles a week currently)
Transmission: 5 speed manual
I bought this from the original owner about 2 months ago. The car is completely stock with a SPT catback from the factory, stock intake and stock downpipe. The car has had all recalls done including the Takata passenger side air bag recall. The car had a bad bottom end (rod knock, main/rod bearing failure, surprisingly not ring lands). I had the short block replaced with a brand new OEM ej257 block, all labor done by a Subaru master technician. I have about 800 break in miles and a couple oil changes since the build. I use Subaru synthetic 5w30 (made by Idemitsu).
Here is a parts list for the motor build. All parts are brand new OEM Subaru:
EJ255 gasket kit
Timing belt and timing belt tensioner
EJ257 12mm oil pump
Oil pan and pickup tube
EJ255 WRX clutch kit (flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, shift fork, shift fork pivot knob)
All new fluids throughout (coolant, oil, trans gear oil)
Since the EJ257 block with EJ255 heads increases the compression ratio a bit, I bought a v3 accessport for monitoring purposes. I flashed an OTS stage one 93oct map and it runs great. The car does not knock whatsoever and idles and drives like new.
Car has oem wheels with 235/45/17 Hankook Ventus tires. Tires are about done for, but I will include a gently used set of 215/50/17 Blizzak snow tires.
The car has oem roof racks painted black, oem window vent visors, Homelink auto dimming compass mirror. The previous owner installed the subwoofers, two kicker 12" with amp wired to the factory head unit. There is a bass boost controller on the center console (these can get pretty loud). The subwoofers can be negotiated out of the deal if you don't want them.
The car has two cracks on the front lower bumper and the rear bumper is scuffed on the right corner. The right side skirt has a deep scratch. I had the vehicle gone over by a PDR specialist (paintless dent repair) so there are no dents on the vehicle. It could still use a good detail. No rust!
Asking $17,000 or best offer. Located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania but willing to travel within reason for the right offer. Accepting trades but would prefer cash/loan check.
