Location (EU and Intl):
Up for grabs is a really rare and hard-to-find SEIWA CENTURY CROWN 500B bass, built by Fujigen in the early 80's.
This was a limited run, the bass has serial #199.
The bass is in excellent, clean condition, 100% functional, no issues. Has a few marks of use, nothing major, mostly light scratches, no chips, cracks etc.
All maple body with beatiful grain, in two-tone sunburst color, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (which is rarely found on fingerboards!), maple neck.
The bass has gold hardware, the nut, bridge plate and saddles, knobs, strap buttons and even pickups screws, backplate screws, output jack nut and washer are made of solid brass!! Bridge plate, neckplate, knobs and tuners have some patina on them which is normal for a 45-years old bass.
Passive electronics with 2 volume and 2 tone controls and pickups configuration switch (neck-bridge-both), the pickups are shielded by brass plates (grounded) which provide additional effect of boosting the lows.
The weight is 8.9 lbs on my scale, neck width at nut is 1.715".
The bass comes with original hardshell case and the key.
Price is 630 Euro OBO + shipping.
