I have had this bike for about 3 years now. It is 100% stock,
I am the second owner, but the first owner let it sit on a covered porch for almost 16 years.
It looks pretty good now, but I have only done an extensive 'First Pass' at restoring it.
I spent the first 2 years slowly tearing it down to clean up everything I could.
No painting of parts, I tried to get the original part as clean as I could without going crazy.
The goal of the 'First Pass' was to get it running and make it look decent.
I had planned to then go over the whole bike again with a focus on everything cosmetic... I never got to that step.
I wanted one of these for the past 10 years, but now I seem to have lot interest in the project.
AND....sadly, I rarely ride on the street anymore.
I have 4 other project bikes, and since this one is clean and ridable I don't think I will ever get back to making it what it should be.
It runs good, rides nice (on the street) but could certainly use more attention to make it better.
This thing actually has one of the smoothest Honda Transmissions I have ever felt from that era. 26,900 miles
New Tires..... pretty much everything else is all original.
I did replace the Tail and lower, but I have the originals as well.
Asking $3600
(Open for serious offer discussion, but won't entertain low-ball offers)
The bike is in Reno, NV.
But If anyone happens to be interested, I will be at Sonoma Raceway April 16 and could bring it with me to show it.
(preferably for a more serious buyer)
I tried to get pictures of the primary cosmetic issues.
Fadded left side of tank due to sitting in the AZ sun.
Right Upper Fairing and Right Exhaust canister damage from first owner crash (Which initiated the 16 year parking job)
Sun damage on the front and solo tail cover.
other smaller things.
If someone is serious, I can take as many pics as requested and take video to show it start up and run.
Email is best
but PM's should also e-mail me a notification.
