I am looking to sell my 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r for $1800
It has about 19,500 miles and holds a clean title.
Bike still runs and is rideable!
No mechanical damage whatsoever, only plastics were damaged
New tires (Avon Roadriders) with less than 500 miles on them
New RK Racing chain
New DID sprockets
New rear brake pads
New oil (Rotella T6 5w-40) and filter (k&n)
So I lowsided last week during a heavy downpour of rain. I don't shy away from riding in the rain but the reason I went down was oil. I was going about 30mph when all of a sudden my rear tire immediately slipped to the right. The bike and I slid for a good 20 to 30 feet due to the water and oil on the ground. The bike fell on its left side and the frame sliders did their job. Unfortunately the left front fairing (and little bit of the left rear fairing) was grinded up thus breaking the turn signal. The left grip came out a little as well but can put back on with a little compressed air. The plastic that holds the turn signal, high beams, and horn is broken as well however all the electronics work.
So to sum up, the bike runs well and is up to date with all maintenance. It is registered until July this year and is great on gas and insurance. You could either load it in a truck or ride it in all its ugliness lol
Feel free to ask any questions and I will try my best to answer them clearly. I am honest and I don't want to mislead anyone so if something needs clarification, I'll be happy to answer
