For sale - a 2009 Aprilia RS125, stock Lorenzo Fortuna 250cc replica bodywork, perfectly set up for track use.
MSO in hand.
Have you ever wanted a light, nimble, easily flick-able bike to pass sportbikes around the outside in corners?
The Aprilia RS125 probably appealed to you, a light two-stroke that has oil injection (just fill it with gas like a regular bike) and e-start - but the reality of the bike is that the engine is anemic and the suspension is substandard.
You need to spend some money and do some work to make it good - or just buy this bike, where everything has been done.
It has a well-matched set of engine mods.
It has an 144cc Italkit big bore (matched cylinder and piston) with a Dell'Orto 34mm big carb, Arrow full exhaust with Kevlar silencer, and V-Force reed cage with carbon reeds.
All engine work was done by local two-stroke guru Carlos Neves.
The carb was jetted on a dyno to match the big bore and exhaust by Factory Pro Tuning.
The suspension is the best you can find to put on this bike - Marzzochi forks and Ohlins shock, both serviced a few track days ago by Catalyst.
They are fully adjustable for rebound, compression, and preload, unlike the stock suspension, which is only adjustable for rear preload.
The front brake pads are track pads from AF1 Racing, and the tires are proper track rubber, Pirelli DOT race tires.
It has Woodcraft rearsets, currently set up for standard shift, but we have the parts to put it to GP shift, if that's what you prefer.
We added front and rear sliders, the rear doubling as swingarm spools.
Other random nice bits are Gilles clip-ons (more adjustable than the stock), a couple of different front sprockets to make the bike work at big tracks and small ones, and a bling CF chain guard.
This bike is amazingly easy to ride, and stupid fun at the track.
We have spent a lot of time and money doing what you need to do to make a stock RS125 into a proper bike that will work well on the track.
