Selling my '82 XS650, has been my daily rider for nearly 3 years, clean title with current registration through Nov 2019.
The bike has around 15,000 miles, originally purchased from mechanic at city cycle werks in SF, I have all the maintenance records since I have owned the bike.
The bike runs great, but probably could use a tune in the near future, but you would have no problem riding off into the sunset the day of purchase. New tires were put on about 6 months ago, with new brakes and a new chain.
This bike is all original except for the handlebars, but would be a great start for a cafe/bobber/chopper build, these engines are pretty tough, bulletproof with lots of low end grunt, no problems on the bay bridge/freeway.
I have some extras to go along with the bike: original handlebars, luggage rack, removable passenger backrest, stainless steel brake lines, 2 carb kits, new sump oil filter, box of spark plugs, haynes manual
As is sale, asking $3,000. M1 and cash in hand for test rides, would love to see this bike go to someone who appreciates it.
