This was one of my father's watches. He always took great care of his watches.
This is a unique, and very classy piece. As a fashion brand Versace watches tend to get overlooked, which often means that you can get these pieces of Haute Horology at mid level prices. This is perfectly exemplified in this watch, which is why it is one of my favorites of the Versace line. It uses style cues made famous by the Cartier Tank watch, and then puts them on steroids. The chunky case has a very solid, masculine presence, yet the overall aesthetic is not gaudy as is seen in many fashion brands. Inside is the high grade version of the ETA 2824 movement which keeps perfect time. The watch has one of the more interesting display case backs you will see. It features intricate engraving and a unique red tinted sapphire display window that I have never seen in any other watch. It features it's original leather strap with a deployment clasp.
Condition is very good. There are some typical wear marks on the case. Crystal, caseback, dial, and strap are in pristine order, and as you can see the lume is fantastic.
Dimensions of the case:
-35mm across without crown
-46mm lug to lug
The original box and papers will be included
Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
My father purchase this watch some years ago from a jeweler for around $1,500. I am asking $850 shipped to CONUS but am open to reasonable offers.
