Catch and Release here. I really want to keep this one but just can't pull off 45mm. If you have a bigger wrist and are looking for a gorgeous moonphase, this is the one. This is the best looking moonphase I've found south of the Schaumburgs, and those run 5k+.
Watch is in excellent condition with only slight wear to the strap. One of the hinges on the box is worn as well. It functions, but worth mentioning.
Asking $900 including shipping a PP fees. US only please.
Full description pulled from another site...This wonderfully innovative design was developed in collaboration with famous German master watchmaker Martin Braun. Mr. Braun has personally hand modified each Swiss ETA 2824 movement on the Renato Moonphase with techniques used in the Martin Braun Selene, a watch loved and highly coveted in the horological community. The Selene, and by extension this Renato Moonphase, is built for perfect accuracy. If the watch was kept wound for 122.5 years, the moonphase would only deviate by one day. Besides its beautifully stylized and luxurious outer aesthetic, the moonphase is what sets this watch apart. Unlike other moonphase watches, this complication takes up an exceptionally large portion of the dial real estate. And that was the correct design decision as the moon is photo-realistic and it truly captivates even the most casual viewer's eye. Even during a new-moon phase, a subtle shadow of the moon is still visible which makes this patented Martin Braun execution distinct within the industry. Also, a standard moonphase normally changes incrementally, with the moonphase indicator shifting once every 24 hours. With the Renato Moonphase complication, you can set the moon disc to the exact minute. If a full moon occurs at precisely 10:05 PM, the disc can be moved so that absolutely zero eclipsing of the moon is visible and the entire moon appears on the dial.At 45mm wide and 14.5mm thick, the Renato Moonphase boasts stylish and intricately detailed casework. The 316L surgical grade stainless steel case provides a wonderfully high-end look. The textured dark grey dial features a blue crescent-moon tipped hand that points to the date along the outer rim. A world-map projection is offered in relief across the dial. The genuine, dual-tapering large grain grey alligator strap is comfortable and fittingly luxurious. It is 28mm wide at the lugs and tapers down to 22mm at the buckle. It will fit wrist sizes up to 8-1/2 inches. Finally, the exhibition caseback allows for viewing of the Swiss ETA 2824 movement that Martin Braun himself worked on, which for serious watch collectors is something youre going to spend quite a bit of time staring at.
