For your consideration is my 1960s Movado Trans-Atlantic Sub-Sea 50 with manual cal 347. According to Ranfft the movement is based on Universal cal. 1105. Refer to below link:bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Movado 347 (Universal 1105)
Watch is all original, signed 4x on dial, caseback, crown and movement. 19mm lugs, 35.8mm (excluding crown) all steel unpolished case is showing regular wear consistent with age but is in overall excellent condition. The case remains sharp with lines and facets clearly visible. The vertical brushed dial is in mint condition with very little imperfection as seen in the macro pics. With the naked eye you won't be able to spot anything. Caseback is snapped in type with "sub-sea" on the outside and reference numbers on the inside. Crystal is clean as it was recently replaced.
The watch keeps good time at present. My watchmaker recently repaired the balance staff and performed a basic cleaning and oiling so it's ready to be enjoyed right out of box. The sale is for the head only and no other accessories are included.
Looking for $550 net to me FIRM. Face to face can be arranged in the LA area. Though I prefer a US sale, international shipping will be accepted at my discretion so please inquire. No trades please. No return accepted unless the watch is grossly misrepresented. I have many feedback on the forum and I expect the same from buyer. Please ask many questions and thanks for looking.
