I purchased this watch in 1995 from a vintage watch dealer in the Los Angeles area, a third-generation watchmaker who I have known since 1954 when we both were in grade school together.
He has been a friend ever since and I have purchased numerous watches from him over the past three decades.
Authenticity is assured.
This is a circa 1913 Patek Philippe that started life as a ladies pendant watch;
it subsequentally had lugs soldered on by a very well-respected watchmaker/jeweler specialist named Avidas (last name unknown) here in Los Angeles and who has since passed.
The dial was redone by hand by Kirk Rich Dial, also here in Los Angeles.
