I have 6 slots in my box allocated for vintage pieces and when my father passed, he left me... 6 pieces. I always loved this Pronto. my wife even wore it for a while. Pronto is one of the many smaller Swiss companies that went belly up with the introduction of the Quartz watch. There were bought and sold a couple times in recent years and I believe they finally went away @2000.
This guy is a modern 38.5mm full stainless case. Its a rare monoblock (no caseback, everything goes in from the top). 25 jewel SWISS movement-I believe 2893 with day and day function. As mentioned in the title.. Beautiful original sunburst dial. Applied nickle markers that even still have some lume power left. I JUST got the watch back from my watchmaker. Fresh service. Its worth noting that the watch has all original parts including the crown. The 20mm tropic strap is a recent reissue that I thought was fitting for the watch, but it also looks great on leather. Even with the fresh service, I would still consider the watch vintage and would not subject it to more than a splash from a hand wash.
The macro on the Iphone 11 Pro is really picking up and intensifying any wear on her. Obviously its tough to rate vintage pieces on the TZ scale, but for its age, I think you will have difficult time finding anything nearly as nice in a stainless case! Mint? No, but beautiful condition-VERY much!

At this time I'm interested mostly in divers. Retro styles only-Nothing too modern. I'm usually not into micro brands, but I'll entertain most things. Top of my list is a Green Oceanographer. Automatic or hand wind only please (I have 2 great quartz pieces). 39-44ishmm.
