Up for sale is my Credor 9661-5000 with a unique integrated bracelet inspired by the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. It features a twin quartz HAQ (high accuracy quartz) movement rated to +/- 20 seconds per year, a solid 14K gold bezel and indexes, and a brushed champagne-coloured dial.
For those unfamiliar with Credor, they are a high-end Japanese Domestic Market only sub-brand of Seiko. The following article is a great read for anyone interested in finding out more about Credor:https://timelessluxwatches.com/revie...ion-to-credor/
This timepiece was produced in the early 80's, in the midst of the craze for luxury steel sports watches designed by Gerald Genta (such as the PP Nautilus and AP Royal Oak) and this watch clearly draws inspiration from this era, with a Royal Oak-esque integrated bracelet, octagonal dial and exposed screws on the solid gold bezel. Specifications for the watch as follows:
Diameter: 34mm excluding crown & crown guards
Thickness: Ultra Thin (approx 7mm)
Water resistance: 10 Bar (100 metres)
Condition: Remarkable considering its age. There are a few desk diving marks on the case and bracelet, the most significant marks are a scratch between 6 and 7 o'clock on the case underneath the bezel, and a scratch on the clasp, both of which I've pictured. The battery, gaskets and O ring have just been replaced and the watch pressure tested, so it will now be maintenance-free for the next 3 years or so.
Sizing: Currently sized to fit a 17cm (6.7") wrist with two spare links included. If your wrist is larger than 18cm it will likely not fit.
Considering the age of this timepiece, the low production volumes and the JDM-only nature of the Credor brand, you will likely never see another of these for sale.
