I'd been intrigued by this watch ever since I spotted it in a pic a few months ago. Finally picked one up and while it's an amazing piece, I realize I don't know when I'd wear it over some of the other watches in the collection. I'm not even sure if you can find these in the US, very little information and it wasn't available on most usual Seiko dealer sites.
For those not familiar, you're looking at basically a Seiko Sumo with a solar chronograph movement. The bezel and face are a nice blue and the subdials are almost a translucent black and inset into the face. Everything's working like it should and besides some very light marks between the lugs where the strap rides and a few scuffs on the back from it being laid down it's like new. Includes warranty card dated February 28th 2020 and all papers and packaging. Comes on a very nice rubber dive strap, almost feels like my vulcanized rubber Borealis. Not nearly as stiff as Seiko's usual rubber straps.
Case diameter: 44mm
