For sale is a really nice vintage mid 1960s Waltham mechanical wristwatch. This is the same watch that was featured at Theo & Harris, it is described as new old stock and in near-pristine condition. This watch features a beautifully faceted gold tone case, measures 34mm wide (without crown) and 40mm lug to lug. The dial is sunburst and immaculate, with Mid Century Modern numbers, Alpha hands and a red-tipped second hand which matches perfectly with the alternating red/black date numbers. It also features an acrylic crystal and stainless steel case back. It's powered by a hand-wind non-hacking, non quickset 17 jewel mechanical movement, which appears to be functioning well and keeping very accurate time. But since it is a vintage timepiece, it should be properly checked out by a watch expert. Comes on a 18mm generic leather strap (I used a Perlon just for photos). I have paired this watch with a period-correct Waltham display hard case and sales literature; manual, price tag and sales card. While not originally mated together, the hard case and sales literature is a really cool piece of history, great for any collector. Questions welcome. No trades please, unless you have a Hodinkee tan textured calfskin leather strap (19mm or 20mm). $300 shipped within conUS with tracking.
