I know I will regret selling this piece but need to offset a recent purchase. Originally picked up as a project but decided to leave as it is and became part of my rotation. This is a 1950's Wittnauer Chronograph, manual winding with very good power reserve and keeping decent time for its age, plexi crystal is in good condition and small marks on dial are present still in good overall condition for something this old. The pushers are smooth and solid, the chronograph starts and stops and resets to zero as it should. The only issue with this watch is (price reflects that) once chronograph is turned on, the minute counter activates at the "23" second mark instead of the "1". My watch maker said it is an easy fix however I never bothered since I do not use this feature. Aesthetically, the Wittnauer is a pretty cool looking watch and wears very comfortably on the wrist with great presence and vintage feel.
Please review pictures as they are part of the description. Seen these watches going for way more than my asking.
